Hydrofaerian is an ocean world teeming with incredible creatures and vibrant beauty. Oxygen levels in the water are incredibly high, with the planet's vast oxygen reserves bubbling away in the depths.
Though most creatures are aquatic, there are also many land-dwellers that venture out of the water and explore the planet's forested islands. From shore, visitors can spot seahorses, dolphins, and giant manta rays swimming through the surf.

Somuuri
One of the most remarkable species on Hydrofaerian is a race of sentient, aquatic creatures known as the Somuuri. Though humanoid in appearance and size, their bodies are entirely covered in soft, flowing scales, much like a deep sea fish. Their eyes are a vibrant, glowing green, and they possess an echolocation-like ability that allows them to sense their surroundings in the murky depths.
Though they are a peaceful people, the Somuuri are fiercely protective of their beloved planet. Using their impressive oceanic knowledge, they are well-equipped to detect any potential threats, and they will not hesitate to take action if necessary.
The vibrant cultures and arts of the Somuuri are well-known on Hydrofaerian, and they are highly respected by other aquatic species. In fact, the Somuuri are widely regarded as the most beautiful, intelligent, and powerful beings on the planet.
