Utapau is a desert world with an outrageous landscape of otherwise never-ending dust storms and billowing clouds. To the naked eye, it appears to be an enormous gas giant, but in reality it is a world composed of mostly shifting and swirling sand. With its huge size, the planet has 8x the gravity of Earth, making it difficult for living creatures to survive here. Like the sand, water is scarce and far between. Most of the life on Utapau is small and hardy, having adapted to the harsh conditions over several generations. The few hardy souls who have chosen to brave its surface are often adventurers and explorers, seeking treasures hidden in the storm-swept dunes.
