The teenage population is particularly fond of this world, seeking comfort in its hidden depths from the trappings of their everyday life beyond the planet's surface. Although homesickness is a common occurrence on Tunnel Journey World, its denizens find strength in each other and in the enigmatic woman who presides over the caverns with a protective and vigorous touch.

The Cave Witches
The native species of Tunnel Journey World are called the Cave Witches. These are small, lithe humanoids of varying sizes, with deep sapphire-colored eyes and a tawny complexion. They possess sharp, angular features, and a deep connection to the caverns they inhabit. Each Cave Witch has a unique talent that they use to protect their home and provide solace to their fellow denizens. Some are able to conjure spectral apparitions of the spirits that lurk in the depths of the caverns, while others have the ability to manipulate the ambient energy of the world. Cave Witches are deeply in tune with the supernatural atmosphere of Tunnel Journey World, and they often take on the role of guardian and guide to any who wander into the depths of their home.
