Panatan is a frozen, mysterious ice world located in the outer reaches of the galaxy. Its unique orbit causes its rotational axis to tilt so severely that half the planet is in perpetual darkness. Yet beneath its frozen surface lies a teeming, vibrant world of life. Vast forests of tidal flora grow in the light and dark regions, with giant quartz-like rock formations shimmering in its surface ice. Its fissures and crevices are teeming with a variety of exotic life forms and its vibrant auroras light up the night sky like a cosmic wonderland. This strange and wonderful ice world is a must-see destination for any space-faring explorer.

Endemic species
Decross
Inhabiting the harsh and ever-changing climate of Panatan are the Decross, a short, yet hardy species with a deep affinity for the land. They have evolved to survive the extreme temperatures and conditions, with dark brown, leathery skin and thick fur providing excellent insulation. Their eyes have evolved to be able to see in both light and darkness, allowing them to hunt their prey during all times of day. The Decross are also capable of producing a unique type of blue fire, which they use to light their way and keep warm during the long nights. In recent years, they have begun trading with other species and even ventured out into space, exploring the mysteries of the universe.
