Endemic species
Yendarra
Among the fiery rivers and black rocks of Arsomus, a feared species dwells. The Yendarra are an ancient race of amphibious creatures, built for survival in the hostile world. With their enormous and bulbous bodies, they are able to brave the intense heat of the lava rivers and are armored with thick scales to protect against the sharp rocks. They have a variety of eyes and tendrils that help them navigate and forage for food, often using their large and powerful fins to spear through smaller fish and crabs. They are known to be fiercely territorial and will fiercely defend their homes, particularly against interlopers that come too close. Despite their intimidating size and appearance, they are a remarkable species, adapted to the lava rivers of Arsomus, and a sight to be marveled at.
