The legendary Cocytus is an ice world of profound darkness and frigid cold. It is the infamous prison camp of the great galactic empire, where traitors, rebels and malcontents are sent to pay for their transgressions. It is a place of despair and punishment, with no hope of escape.
Though no one knows what lies beneath the icy surface, stories persist of the horrors that await intruders. It is said that the guardians of Cocytus are horrific vacuum dwellers with voids for faces, who patrol the frozen wastes and guard the dreaded prison facility.
It is no wonder that Cocytus is the most feared place in the entire galaxy. Even its name, taken from the ninth circle of hell, evokes feelings of dread and despair. Here, no one is safe from being sent to the prison camp, and from the moment of entry, life becomes a living hell.
