Deep Threnody is a gas world, but most noteably it is known for being alive with a song. Clusters of eldritch spires stretch up into the sky, seeming to reach for the stars, singing with a deep, echoing hum. The plant life of Deep Threnody sings back to the spires, their petals and leaves rustling in sync with the music of the planet's core. The air is filled with a strange and mysterious melody, one that changes in the night when carnivorous fairies come out, their eerie chirps joining the choir of the planet's song. Even the rocks, filled with precious and unique minerals, are impacted by the music, their crystalline structures resonating like chimes. Indeed, Deep Threnody is a world truly alive with sound.

Endemic species
Threnodians
The native species of Deep Threnody are known as the Threnodians, a tribe of sentient, magical creatures that have adapted to the strange melody of the planet. They are small and wispy, their bodies fluid and shimmering like the spires of the planet. It is said that they can even draw energy from the song, using it to perform powerful feats of magic. Threnodians have an innate connection to the planet, and can often be found sitting atop the spires, their eyes glowing as they gaze up into the night sky. They are a friendly species, and have an exciting culture of music and art, their song weaving in and out of the planet’s melody.
