The sentients of Mycelia are a curious and enigmatic species, seemingly crafted from living fungi. The head of this species is a large and intricate mushroom cap, with broad eyes and a wide mouth. It has four spindly, webbed legs with small claws at their tips, as well as a pair of long, retractable tendrils that can be used for grasping objects or probing the environment. Its skin is smooth and has a slightly damp, mushy texture that is slightly reminiscent of a wet sponge. While it often communicates with a variety of clicks and chirps, this species can also manipulate the language of the hive mind to share more complicated thoughts and feelings. They are a wise and reclusive species, living peacefully among the ancient forests and mysterious fog of Mycelia.
