Saerlaith, an icy world located in the outer reaches of the galaxy, once had a thriving human culture. But now it is a cold, unforgiving environment. Yet it still holds the secrets of its ancient past. The skies of Saerlaith are surprisingly vibrant and alive - a brilliant pink that can only be seen when the sun sets. There are rumors of an ancient city left behind by Irish time travellers, hidden somewhere in the frozen wasteland. In this city, the stories say, a fiery noble princess resides. None have ventured to the city to prove these rumors, but the possibility of its existence lingers in the air.

The Saerlaithians are a noble race of intelligent, fire-loving aliens. They are reptilian humanoid creatures with long, curling tails that end in a single flame-like fin. Their eyes burn a brilliant orange, and the tips of their claws are like little sparks of fire. They love to explore and discover new things, preferring to travel in large groups and always accompanied by fire. They have a fondness for games, and often pass the time creating elaborate board games with pieces of glowing crystal and intricate rules.
