Boreasium was a stunningly beautiful planet, with shimmering glaciers that spanned for miles in each direction, sparkling in the brilliant sunlight. Where other planets got their warmth from the star that shone in their skies, Boreasium was powered by the frozen winds that blew from the east and west, sweeping the entire planet with a chill that was unrivaled throughout the entire universe. Tales of Boreasium's mysteries and wonders had been whispered amongst the stars for eons, and aspiring adventurers always sought out its icy landscapes, searching for hidden secrets, long-lost treasures and ancient artifacts that could unlock the secrets of the universe. Such was the magic of Boreasium, a place of truly breathtaking splendor that captured the imaginations of all who dared to venture to its frozen shores.

Endemic species
The Snowdrifters
The indigenous species of Boreasium were known as the Snowdrifters, a hardy and mysterious species that had adapted to the bitterly cold climate and went about their daily lives in search of food, shelter and knowledge. They had four powerful arms that allowed them to traverse the glaciers with ease, four eyes that flashed a brilliant icy blue when exposed to the light of the stars, and two antennae that could sense changes in the atmosphere and alert the Snowdrifters to the presence of any incoming danger. While they were a relatively peaceful species, they were fiercely protective of their home planet and would fight anyone who dared to intrude upon their icy domain.
