Prune

Not yet surveyed.

Prune is an arid desert world that seems a barren wasteland at first glance, yet further exploration reveals the mysteries hidden beneath the surface. Towering jagged mountain ranges disrupt the endless sand dunes and rocky plateaus, and between them are an abundance of precious metals. Despite being a desert world, Prune is home to numerous unique plant species that have adapted to its harsh environment. One such species is called Prunes, a large bushy evergreen tree with multiple flaring branches and violet flowers whose nectar is prized by many. The tree's sweet and succulent fruit is known to be a particular delicacy. Some of the mountain ranges on Prune have vast interconnected underground chasms and caves, where many of its intelligent inhabitants have constructed immense underground cities. The walls of these caves are often incrusted with fragile, sparkling jewels, and above the surface in certain places, large oases can be found with plenty of prune trees growing near them. The sky of Prune is a beautiful contrast to the barren wasteland below. On most days, the sky is an awe-inspiring spectrum of bright multicolored clouds and sometimes it is illuminated by the colorful streaks of a meteor shower.

Prunians

The native species of Prune are known as the Prunians and they are a remarkable adaptation of the planet's harsh environment. Physically, they are humanoid in shape, with four winged limbs and a pearlescent, skin-like carapace. They have a bright, shining eye that reflect their surroundings and the sharpness and precision of their movements suggests intelligent behavior. Their most notable feature, however, are the large, crystal wings that sprout from their back. These wings are made of a translucent crystal material and can span up to 10 feet in length. While not as powerful as a bat's wings, these unique appendages allow the Prunians to fly with some degree of speed and grace. The Prunians are a peaceful, spiritual species that live in harmony with the planet. They revere the oases of Prune and the prune trees that grow there, and often seek solace in the many crystal caves of the mountain ranges. Due to their physical capabilities and emotional resilience, they have become vital members of the universe through their insights and wisdom.
