They are said to be able to control the shifting sand dunes with their minds, and the hidden technology that they use to power their oases is the stuff of legends. Travelers to Phrelian come to marvel at their amazing feats, and to learn their secrets.

The native species of Phrelian is a race of semi-sentient beings known as the Phrealians. These creatures are said to be able to manipulate the environment with the power of technomancy, channeling magical forces through the machines they maintain in their oases. They are tall and slender, with silvery skin and glowing eyes that seem to peer into the soul of anyone gazing upon them. They are incredibly intelligent and wise, and many believe they possess a hidden knowledge that can only be unlocked by those who are brave enough to explore the unknown regions of Phrelian.
