Q was an anomalous planet, located in an area of the galaxy that was both unusually desolate and mysterious. While nearby stars shimmered with activity, Q stood still and silent like a sentinel of the void. Its surface of smooth rocks and metallic deposits glinted like small points of light against the pitch darkness beneath. As the inhabitants of neighboring planets looked upon it, they felt an oppressive atmosphere of foreboding and despair. Despite its ominous presence, Q held many secrets and unspoken knowledge within its depths. Those brave enough to venture there were met with inexplicable phenomena, and in some cases, powerful wonders. It was this unique combination of sentience and mystery that made Q an enigma among the stars.

Endemic species
The Talousi
The dominant species native to Q is the Talousi, a species of semi-insectoid humanoids with a vibrant culture and society that stands in opposition to the eerie stillness of their home planet. They have four large, delicate wings that allow them to soar through the air with grace, and three arms and one leg that end in three-fingered hands. Their eyes are large and faceted like an insect’s, giving them an inhuman but strangely captivating appearance. The Talousi revere the mysterious powers and phenomena on their home planet, and believe that the knowledge and energy it radiates can be used to create great works of art and even greater tools of power. In their culture's mythology, Q is guarded by a powerful deity known as the Watcher, and the Talousi strive to prove their worth to this god-like figure in order to gain its favor.
