M is a gas world that resembles a primordial soup of mist and fog. Its atmosphere and terrain comprise of a variety of unknown gases, with a layer of dense fog that can be penetrated by the light of the sun and stars. Simultaneously ethereal and dangerous, travelers must navigate these shifting smoke-like clouds with care as they explore this mysterious planet. Towering shapes can be seen looming in the distance, though it is hard to make out their true forms as they are shrouded in constantly changing clouds. As you traverse through the fog, whisper-like voices seem to envelop you, coaxing you further into the unknown. You may be on the verge of discovering the secrets of M, if you are brave enough to find out.

Endemic species
Vaspovs
The native inhabitants of M are a unique species known as the Vaspovs. They are an amphibious race — their skin a mixture of a slimy and scaly texture — that can both swim in shallow water and walk on land. The Vaspovs have luminescent eyes that glow purple in the night and provide them with excellent nocturnal vision. They have evolved to be incredibly adept at navigating the swirling clouds of M, using the changing winds and gusts of fog as their sense of direction. The Vaspovs have a highly structured society and a reverential attitude towards the planet they inhabit, as they feel connected to M’s ever changing environment. They are a proud people, fiercely protecting their home and curious about the unknowns that lie beyond. Even with their advanced knowledge, the Vaspovs still sense an almost spiritual connection to the mysteries of M, as if the planet itself holds the key to unlocking the secrets of the universe.
