The Officialdom Administration of Civil Bureaucracy is a Lava world unlike any other. The planet is divided into large masses of slowly moving molten lava, giving the impression of a large, simmering sea, while isolated lush tropical forests are suspended above the chilling magma, their small mountains and islands seemingly floating on the molten surface.
This strange world is populated by creatures of immense intelligence and long lifespans. Though they have the ability to accumulate knowledge, their devotion to the planet's extreme bureaucracy hinders the use of this knowledge. All the minutiae of daily life is regulated to a painstakingly slow degree, with paperwork, affidavits and forms necessary for even the simplest tasks. This has led to a world that is seemingly static and unchanged - though some of the more daring and independent creatures of The Officialdom Administration of Civil Bureaucracy have begun to push back against the tide of excessive paperwork and bureaucracy and are slowly helping to unlock the potential of their fascinating world.

The inhabitants of The Officialdom Administration of Civil Bureaucracy are known as Bureaucratics. They are a race of six-limbed reptilian creatures who live for centuries and pride themselves on their ability to accurately and effectively organize and regulate all aspects of daily life on their planet. They maintain an orderly and highly methodical bureaucracy with layers of forms, affidavits and paperwork needed even to perform the simplest of tasks.
The Bureaucratics have a strong sense of order and justice and are devoted to their bureaucratized society. They are capable of incredible feats of intelligence and sometimes display powers of telepathy. They possess a deep love of knowledge and wisdom, though the excessive paperwork and bureaucracy of their world often hampers the use of this knowledge.
Despite their devotion to the bureaucratic system, there are some Bureaucratics who are daring and independent-minded who have begun to push against the tide of over regulation, seeking to unlock the potential of their fascinating world.
