Endemic species
Nochturians
The native species of Nocturnalus is an enigmatic race of humanoid creatures, aptly named the Nochturians. Standing at approximately six to seven feet tall, these nocturnal creatures are about twice the size of a human, with pale, albino-like skin and possess a unique mix of reptilian and mammalian features. They have two large, lidless eyes for excellent night vision, and two sets of horns protruding from the back of their skulls. They also possess powerful, spindly legs, perfect for sprinting across the turbulent landscape.
Nochturians are incredibly intelligent, with a natural affinity for science, engineering, and philosophy. They are naturally inquisitive and inquisitive, constantly searching for new ideas, knowledge and technologies that they can use to improve their lives. They also possess a deep, spiritual connection to Nocturnalus and its secrets, with a deep reverence for its strange and mysterious nature.
