Le-Xā is a Type IV civilisation inhabiting a terran world of two diverse, yet beautifully interwoven, hemispheres. One is hot and bright, the other, perpetually in the shadows and cold. The inhabitants of Le-Xā have seized upon this unique variation, crafting a civilisation that thrives in both temperatures, with many citizens living in a stunning pink supercity that soars above the oceans. Despite the warm temperatures, most of the inhabitants of Le-Xā favour darker clothing and clothing, in particular, relating to sex and sensuality. The supercity is home to the main governing body of the planet, with a vast array of leisure, business and governmental districts. The oceans below are home to many creatures, with tales of mysterious creatures deep beneath the waves. Surrounding the supercity are vast stretches of land and countryside, giving way to a variety of civilisations, from nomadic tribes to technological enclaves.

Endemic species
The Xārians
The dominant species inhabiting Le-Xā are the Xārians. They are a highly advanced society, intelligent, inquisitive and technologically accomplished. Xārians are humanoid, but with a unique trait - their flesh is permanently tinted in a range of colours, from deep purple to electric blue. By controlling their skin pigmentation, Xārian can even change their colour to a shade that conveys their mood. This helps them to better communicate with their peers, making conversation and debate much more precise and efficient. In addition, Xārian have the ability to rapidly traverse the planet, swimming and flying at incredible speeds. They are truly a species at the peak of their evolution.
