Thrace

Not yet surveyed.

Thrace was once a vibrant world with oceans of blue, lush plains, and towering mountains. But a catastrophic event, known by historians as the Great Extinction, left the once thriving world a barren wasteland, its surface pitted with deep chasms and craters. The cause of the disaster has been traced to a reckless experiment in planetary penetration by a now defunct race of scientists. A powerful railgun was fired into the planet's core, its energy piercing the very heart of Thrace and rupturing the planet into ruin. Now all that remains of its former glory is a desolated landscape and a reminder of a past folly.

Endemic species

Cyberroachus Technicus

The Cyberroachus Technicus is a highly advanced alien species that has adapted to survive in the harsh conditions of the planet Thrace. They are a hybrid of cybernetics and biology, having evolved from a type of cockroach native to the planet. Their exoskeletons are reinforced with a metallic alloy that allows them to withstand the extreme temperatures and radiation present on Thrace's surface. They possess advanced sensor arrays and processing capabilities, allowing them to navigate the treacherous terrain and locate scarce resources. Despite their small size, they are highly intelligent and possess a complex social structure, living in large colonies and have a hive mind mentality which allows them to work together as a collective to achieve a common goal. They are a reminder of the cautionary tale of the Great Extinction, as they have adapted and thrived in a world created by the recklessness of another species.
