Barren world
Already Surveyed!
Hemisphairos
Not yet surveyed.
Hemisphairos orbits a distant star, a post-tachyonic war relic, now only a barren world. Once lush and vibrant, it has been split into two hemispheres by the devastating war, an omen of the destruction to come.
The lower gravity of the planet has made it a haven for commerce and industry. Corporations have established a large presence here, and the planet never sleeps. Trade vessels, cargo freighters, and even the occasional passenger cruise fly by at all hours of the day, their glowing windows and neon lights lighting up the dark of space.
Apart from the bustling economic activity, Hemisphairos also hosts a few remarkable lifeforms. Lichen-based species have adapted to thrive in the harsh environment, some in a symbiotic relationship with the planet's industry. It is said that these species can be found in the darkest alleys of the planet, far from the reach of civilization.

Endemic species
Gosma'Kuls
Gosma'Kuls are a enigmatic species native to Hemisphairos. They are small creatures, standing no more than two feet tall, but they possess an impressive set of appendages. Each Gosma'Kul has four legs, two arms and two hands, along with an array of colorful tentacles that emit a bioluminescent glow.
Gosma'Kuls are an intelligent species, able to use tools and communicate using an elaborate language composed of clicks and twitters. They have an affinity for technology, and some have even been known to build small machines and robots.
The Gosma'Kuls are a peaceful species, content to let civilization pass by while embracing the strange and beautiful aspects of their home planet. They freely gather and trade with merchant vessels, exchanging goods and stories, and offering a unique insight into their culture and life on Hemisphairos.
