Exfrakillia is an unforgiving and brutal world, a barren planet whose surface is a wasteland of craggy mountains, jagged cliffs, and dry, parched valleys. Once inhabited by a vibrant, advanced society, Exfrakillia has since been ravaged by multiple societal collapses and is now home to a small number of hardy survivors.
The terrain is dominated by fields of fungal-like life-forms that grow on the rugged land, living off the sparse and meagre resources. An abundance of subterranean complexes exist and many of the survivors dwell there in relative safety. The planet's only remaining inhabitants live by a complex set of social roles and laws which emphasize the rights of animals and the conservation of resources. A harsh, lawless land, Exfrakillia is a place to be feared yet respected.

The dominant species of Exfrakillia, the Exfrakillians, are a unique, yet hardy race of humanoids that have adapted to their harsh environment over generations. Standing tall, with long limbs and a powerful build, they possess an exceptionally strong constitution. They have pale, greyish skin and large, bright yellow eyes, befitting of their subterranean origins. With thick, muscular tails and long nails, they are also equipped with razor sharp teeth that can be used to either tear at their prey or defend against predators.
Exfrakillians are a fiercely independent species that take great pride in their resourcefulness and resilience. They possess an acute intellect and can be fiercely independent, yet also loyal to their community. They are a spiritual people, believing in the power of their ancestors and their world. Despite the seemingly bleak environment and the dangers which lurk in the shadows, Exfrakillians carry an unyielding sense of optimism and resilience.
