Desero V was once a bustling and thriving planet, marked by lush forests, placid oceans, and the bustling cities of a proud and advanced civilization. Unfortunately, it was not to last. As a barren desert world, Desero V has long since been abandoned, its grand cities and structures now silent and devoid of life. The scars of its demise still remain, however - ruined monuments to a glory long-forgotten. What remains of Desero V are a few stubborn pockets of life that exist in the depths of the planet, sheltered from the harsh sun and fierce winds that ravage the planet's surface. The planet's old inhabitants have long since departed, but the secrets of Desero V's past remain hidden and waiting to be uncovered. Ancient technology and ruins continue to hint at what life once was, and who knows what else could be found in the darkness.

The Deserovites

The Desero Vians, a species of vermin-like aliens, have been living in the shadows of the planet's ruins for as long as anyone can remember. Small and nimble, they are most commonly found scurrying around the dark corners and crevices of Desero V's deepest reaches. They have adapted to life in the darkness, and their light-sensing eyes allow them to navigate through the darkness with ease. The Desero Vians are a tough species, however, and have managed to survive against all odds. Through sheer will and determination, they have managed to tap into the ancient technology that still remains scattered all over the planet. By scavenging and repurposing these devices, the Desero Vians have managed to craft a primitive civilization of their own, and continue to survive despite the harsh conditions of the planet. They remain a mystery to outsiders, but for those brave enough to venture deep enough into Desero V, they can be found thriving in the darkness.
