Dijla

Not yet surveyed.

Dijla is an ancient world, its surface an array of rocky formations, jutting out of the ground like a forgotten sculpture garden. Its barren nature belies its mineral-rich core, however, and the nearby star's rays have given the planet an alchemical, almost magical glow. Though seemingly desolate, Dijla is thought to be well-situated to sustain the life of any terrestrial planets that might be found in orbit around it. Despite its lack of life, Dijla has been known to captivate the imaginations of the bold, and has been the site of many daring expeditions since its discovery.

Endemic species

the Dijlians

The Dijlian, a unique species of life, evolved deep under the surface of Dijla. With chrome-plated bodies and tentacles of liquid metal, they defy all known rules of life. Highly adaptable, they can move quickly across the rocky terrain and can even glide across the atmosphere. The Dijlian are a social species, forming tight-knit colonies near the planet's mineral-rich core. They are known to be fiercely loyal to one another and fiercely protective of their birth planet, often going to great lengths to prevent any interlopers from damaging its unspoiled environment. Many have also theorized that they have a deep connection to the alchemical energies that fill the planet, as though they are drawn to the mysterious power of Dijla’s core.
