Moon
Already Surveyed!
Moontide
Not yet surveyed.
Moontide is an inhospitable world orbiting a distant star. Its pitted, haggard surface is dotted with craters, dark chasms and craggy mountain ranges. It is a planet shrouded in eternal twilight, for the only light that graces its dark surface is that of an ashen moon that hovers on the horizon. During the day, Moontide's surface is a grim and jagged landscape of iron and soot, creating a stark contrast to the serene and placid nights where the moon hangs in the sky, illuminating the planet in its glowing, milky light. Moontide is a desolate world, devoid of life yet teeming with secrets hidden in its dark crevices. It is a planet of contrasts, of light and darkness, of silence and secrets.

Endemic species
Kelnorans
Nestled in hidden crags and shadowed valleys of Moontide, a unique species has evolved to survive under these extreme conditions. The Kelnorans inhabit Moontide, a species of short, bipedal creatures with grey leathery skin that reflects the light of the moon. They are agile creatures with long, dexterous fingers designed for climbing and traversing their dark, jagged environment. They have large eyes that allow them to see in both the darkness of night and the dimness of day. The Kelnorans have adapted to the Moontide's extreme conditions, with strong, flexible spines and powerful legs designed to traverse Moontide’s broken terrain. The Kelnorans have a deep reverence for the moon, to which they hold many spiritual beliefs, including the notion that Moontide is the birthplace of their species. Though the Kelnorans are a reclusive species, their wisdom is sought by many. They view the moon as a source of great wisdom and power, and their connection to it is an integral part of their culture.
