Arborteum is a lush, verdant gas world of rolling fields and breezy valleys, carpeted by wildflowers, billowy grasses, and strange, lusciously green trees. The vibrant horizon is punctuated by ethereal clouds of fog, rolling across the hills like a breeze and carrying with it the fresh scents of nature. Wide, deep rivers of liquid oxygen rush through the planet’s core, and gaseous oxygen is blasted out of dormant volcanoes, giving the planet a unique, absurd atmosphere. The oxygen-rich atmosphere is a paradise of fertility, allowing the trees to grow tall and lush, branches arching together in a lush canopy of vibrant green.

Xil'ers
Inhabiting the lush forest of Arborteum are a race of tall, slender humanoids known as the Xil'ers. With their ethereal, luminescent skin, they are masters of their environment, adapting to the oxygen-rich atmosphere by absorbing the gases into their pores. This allows them to breathe in the high oxygen levels directly, supplementing their breathing through their mouths with the dense gaseous oxygen. They are born with a reptilian tail that they use to balance themselves, while their long, dexterous fingers allow them to climb the trees with ease. The Xil'ers have a deep connection to the land and are gentle stewards of the forest, always looking to ensure its natural beauty is maintained. They are curious creatures, and their knowledge of the environment is unparalleled, allowing them to thrive in Arborteum's unique atmosphere.
